Typical Day
We make sure children get opportunities to learn and develop each day at The Chapel nursery.
Our routines are key to making children feel safe and welcomed. A routine offers child a sense of safety and security that is the foundation to happiness and learning.
We have scheduled visits to the local Library and nature walks that get our children out and about.
Routines
We typically follow the following routine unless we plan an offsite activity (outing) such as visit to a museum etc.
- 7:30 – 8:30 am: Breakfast
- 8:30 – 9:30 am: Circle time
- 9:30 – 10:30 am: Learning Activity – Art, Craft, Cook, etc.
- 10:30 – 11:00 am: Mid morning Snack
- 11:00 – 11:30 pm: Forest School / Outdoor Activities
- 11:30 – 12:00 pm: Lunch
- 12:00 – 1:00pm: Music / Story time / Nap time
- 1:00 – 2:00pm: Open format play
- 2:00 – 2:30pm: Afternoon snack
- 2:30 – 4:00pm: Forest School / Outdoor Activities
- 4:00 – 5:00pm: Tea / Dinner
- 5:00 – 6:30pm: Indoor play
